It’s easily hackable to most genres. So, have you guys played it? Scott Anderson 8 February at BoL is kind of barebones as it is, there’s not much left to trim. It’s like painting fancy numbers on a sundial and calling it a Swiss watch.
However, for people who do like to have a lot of things they can learn, need some direction when it’s actually time to roleplay, or lack creativity Dropping the “edit a scene detail” option won’t break the game.
The changes to existing mechanics going from Legendary to Mythic are actually pretty minor; mostly it replaces one of the four combat stats Brawl with a new awkward one Initiative.
If it helps, it’s pages compared to Legendary ‘s I would say it’s an excellent starting system for people who are good at improv and don’t want to learn a bunch of rules. And then if I wanted more freeform, or more crunchy rules, it’s all out there to be had.
This need not be the case. But it’s not worthless. And I would barbariians the guy who was geeked enough to run it to be a railroady jerk, and live with it. My overall feel of the system is that it mostly just wants you to use your common sense and focus on having fun. Submit a new link.

As far as the hit point thing, I haven’t run it yet, but I can see with certain character specs against certain enemies that’d definitely be a concern three rolls for every successful attack. Any truth to this? Do not submit video game content unless the game is based on a tabletop RPG property and is newsworthy.
If you do that without projecting your wishes of how you might like it to work, you’ll see that the function of an RPG is to: Which is fine for an experienced player, but might be hard for newbies. I feel like if I was a newbie and played BoL for my first game, it would fulfill my expectations more or less.

Dice gets you out of the imaginary world, especially when they fall out of the table. But if you put an outboard motor on the back you could really get that puppy moving! You can be imaginative and magic is less of a “magical science” then something alien that the GM can tweak how he or she wants to suit the game.
That said, yeah, I’d add real money, encumbrance, price lists and treasures myself! Among other aspects you touch on in a negative sense and rph which I agree. What’s your favorite part?

That Lulu doesn’t have Mythic isn’t a big loss at this point. BoL has character advancement options, and sufficient flexibility, to be able to sustain a session campaign. But if painting your sundial to look rog a watch makes you happy, it’s easy to do in this case. I guess BoL and BW feel like they are the opposites in many ways.
