Hell, the aliens and their main host are the most developed and interesting characters in the novel! It is six weeks later and the team finds itself in the unenviable position of having to stop an even more virulent strain of the virus—a virus that is correcting the mistakes made during the first invasion of earth. Yes, it was very exciting, a race against the clock kind of thing to save humanity, literally, from aliens.

I disagree with Sarah, in that I did “get” all the characters and felt it wasn’t necessary to have …more I read Contagious and had NO idea it was a sequel. The only possible explanation: Photos and contagoius by Michael Crawford. This book covers more ground than the previous in terms of locale, but most of the action is still in Michigan, centering around Gaylord and Detroit.
Well, I was chuckling at the poorly dressed individual in that picture. Lists with This Book. So Perry, the CIA and the military spend their time tracking down gates and taking them out before the alien invaders can come through. They still try sigelr drive him to kill, but thanks to Dew, he demonstrates that he is more in control now.
Wonder what will happen there? Just what you need. The “triangles” try a new strategy, ocntagious a cute little girl turns into an evil little monster. Turns out, chicken scissors can be used with great effect in the hands — so to speak — of a writer like Scott.
But what is up with all the deaths at the end of the book? And how about the great city contzgious Detroit? We are experiencing technical difficulties.
Meanwhile, other enemies join the battle, and a new threat — one that comes from a most unexpected source — may ultimately prove the most dangerous of all. Here the aliens invade by infecting hosts, then controlling them, then getting them to complete their nefarious plans.

New fan of scott 4 stars. We get to know Chelsea, Betty, and Uncle Donny a bit better.
I will finish the series since I have gotten this far and would like to see how the author wraps it up. Alongside them is Margaret Montoya, a brilliant epidemiologist who fights for a cure even as she reels under the weight of endless horrors.
Perry is left affected by the events of Infected and his able to track the triangles and their constant attempts to build gates portals.
